Meet Abigail Quateh, First Class Graduate and Best Nurse 2021/2022 At Korle-BuTeaching Hospital

1. Date of birth : 4th November 1992

2. Basic school: GESDI D/A PRIM/JHS from 1996 to 2007

3. SHS - Breman Asikuma from 2007 to 2011

4. Nursing Training- Cape Coast from 2012 to. 2015

5. National service at Mankessim from 2016 to. 2017

6. Posted to work permanently at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in 1st August 2017 as a diploma nurse

7. Obtained first degree (BSc nursing) at Central University at 2020 with first class

8. Currently working as a nursing officer at Korle-bu teaching hospital, Accident and Emergency department.

9. She was awarded as the best nurse at her department in 2021 


Abigail Quateh was born at Ajumako Techiman in the Central Region, she is the second born to her parents, Agnes Brakwah and John Quateh. Abigail is a sister to four brethren who are Emmanuel Quateh as the first born, Henry Quateh as the third born and Philip Quateh as the last born. 

Her Father who was a carpenter died in the year 2004 through a gory car accident at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. Abigail has been raised by her responsible mother called Agness Brakwah. 

Abigail Quateh won best nurse in her department Accident and Emergency department in the year 2021.

Abigail Quateh is a very brilliant, humble, hardworking and spiritual lady. 

She attends Lighthouse Chapel International but was raised in New-Life Pentecostal Ministry International founded by Bishop Dr. John Evans Amponsah.

Abigail currently stays at Korle Gonno in the Greater Accra Region, she is single. She is so passionate about the things of God, she loves to see people smile, a kindhearted person and a role model to people who aspire to be a nurse.
