Why Do You Need Jesus Christ In Your Life?

Why Do You Need Jesus Christ In Your Life?

 Why Jesus Christ?

When God created the heavens and the earth, He also made man and woman. God at first visited men on earth in the garden of Eden. He dined with them and converse with them several times.

In those times Adam and Eve were very previlidged to see God and even dine with Him.

God was more than the word happy to see man, visit man and talk to man several times till Adam and Eve broke the laws God gave unto them.

Remember the word of God says in the book of Isaiah that "it is our iniquities that separate us from Him". Isaiah 59:1-3

Genesis 3:23-24

[23]Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

[24]So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Now man lost the Glory God gave unto him, man lost the right and power to take dominion over everything. Satan took it from men and took men captive.

Now sin came into the heart of men and everyone that came on earth was pruned to sin because it is a seed in a man's heart.

Sin became rampant and everyone born watch was clothed with sin and iniquities, they sin willingly and they had no conscience and love for each other and even towards God.

It grieved God that He had made a man and had wanted to destroy everything on the earth surface.

Genesis 6:1-7

[1]And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

[2]That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

[3]And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

[4]There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

[5]And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

[6]And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

[7]And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

God had wanted to kill every man on earth, every beast on earth because of our sins.

Now there was a man called Noah, Noah found favor in the sight of God because he was the one who could live according to the standards of God in terms of righteousness in his generation.

So God made a covenant with him and Noah became the preacher of righteousness for his generation.

Genesis 6:8

God promised them that He is going to destroy the earth with a flood, so He advised every man to repent and come into the ark He has asked Noah to prepare. He gave them time as Noah preached because He was wanting every man to be saved but non of them got a repented heart to enter into that ark which is the ark of rest from destruction, condemnation, and judgement.

They couldn't obey what Noah preached so they all died.

This can be seen as he first rapture.

Only Noah and his family got saved.

1 Peter 3:20

[20]Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

God promised Noah and his generation that He's no more going to destroy the earth with water.

He made a covenant with man and thought man how to sacrifice unto Him animals as burnt offering.

He also thought the people how to sacrifice rams and any other four legged animals when they sin against God.

God did this so that He wrath will not forever come upon the people. He wanted the to be saved but the blood of the ram and the sheep were just a temporary medium or an atonement for their sins because it couldn't take their sins in their heart away.

So God was still not pleased with their sacrifices this is because it became rampant from time to time, from generation to generation and from heart to heart.

It still grieved the heart of the Lord because non of them lived a righteous life.

Isaiah 1:11-17

[11]To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

[12]When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?

[13]Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

[14]Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

[15]And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

[16]Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

[17]Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

God said He's tired with their sacrifices!

Many were lost and were not in the hands of the Lord. They were not born of God so God had to send His only begotten SON who will come and remove sin.

A blood was needed, a lamb was needed, a beast without blemish was needed and where will that lamb come from?

God sent His only begotten SON who is the lamb of God to come and die for us. JOHN 3:16

1 Peter 1:19-20

[19]But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

[20]Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

So because God want to bring us back to the relationship we had with Him, He sent Jesus Christ.

Jeremiah 23:3-6

[3]And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

[4]And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

[5]Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

[6]In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Isaiah 53:1-12

[1]Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

[2]For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

[3]He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

[4]Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

[5]But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

[6]All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

[7]He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

[8]He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

[9]And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

[10]Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

[11]He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

[12]Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Now it all came to pass that we will be righteous. Bible says and He made many righteous.

Now killed Him for us as an offering.

Bible says for the wages of sin is the death. Romans 6:23.

Romans 5:8-21

[8]But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

[9]Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

[10]For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

[11]And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

[12]Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

[13](For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

[14]Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

[15]But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

[16]And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

[17]For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

[18]Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

[19]For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

[20]Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

[21]That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

But by one man's offering, we are made righteous. "But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ the Son of God". He has now save us from the bondage and restored us.

It takes a man to accept Jesus Christ to gain this righteousness and have access to the life God has given us because bible says Jesus Christ is the LIFE.

Now, it takes a man to have Jesus Christ before he can receive the life of God.

God restores, it takes a man to come to the cross before he can receive the gift of God which is the sacrifice made by God Himself on the cross to save humanity.

Jesus Christ came on earth that we may have life and have it abundantly.

Now we have overcome the devil who stole our blessings through the blood of Jesus Christ and the word of our testimonies. Revelations 12:12

Why Do We Need Jesus Christ?

1. That our sins will be forgiven

1 John 1:9

[9]If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we confess our sins and accept Him as our Lord and personal savior, our sins will be forgiven.

Romans 10:9-11

[9]That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

[10]For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

[11]For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

2. That we will get eternal life.

Jesus Christ is the medium through which we can get eternal life. Without Jesus Christ we cannot get eternal life.

1 John 5:10-13

[10]He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

[11]And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

[12]He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

[13]These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

3. To escape from the wrath of God.

Any man who does not believe in the Son of God and is not saved will be condemned. Such person will face the wrath of God and enter into the lake of fire.

John 3:36

[36]He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Revelation 14:10

[10]The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
