IF YOU HAVE Not yet recieved him, make the decision now to receive him.

God sent Jesus Christ to rescue us from our sins.

He came into the world with the intent of saving us and releasing us from the bonds of the adversary by the precious blood He shed on the cross many years ago.

He still loves and needs you, no matter what type of sins you've done, which is why God sent His Son Jesus to this earth to die for us.

John 3:16

[16]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

We are all sinners, and there is no one who is individually righteous. Because even the Bible states that our righteousness is like a filthy rag in His sight, how much more a sinner who smokes, steals, fornicates, lies...?

1 John 1:10

[10]If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

With a sinful existence, no one can enter God's kingdom. Man must be purified before he is allowed to enter God's kingdom.

Revelation 22:15

[15]For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

That is why Jesus came to die for us, so that we would not fall into God's anger, and also to deliver us from the bonds of the adversary, so that we would be saved and have absolute freedom, healing in our bodies, and peace forever.

Isaiah 55:1-3

[1]Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

[2]Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

[3]Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Sin Makes One Captive

Who are those who choose confinement?

These are the people who have been vanquished and taken as prisoners by their foes. Beloved, sin makes man a prisoner of the adversary.

When we say "hold," we mean that it prevents you from enjoying complete freedom.

Slave Characteristics

A slave does not have free will.

Doing something you don't want to do will involve a lot of work, and hence;

Your adversary has influence over you.

You lack both calm and joy.

Features  Of Someone Who Sit In Darkness

Romans 7:14-24

[14]For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

[15]For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.

[16]If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.

[17]Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

[18]For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

[19]For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

[20]Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

When you are captured by sin or darkness, you become a slave for the enemy (Satan), which leads to addiction and a slew of sins that deprive you the opportunity to life.

Because he asserted that he cannot do what he wishes but can do what he does not desired.

That is why, when sin infiltrates your members, the adversary captures and controls you.

Some individuals are drunkards, prostitutes, smokers, thieves, covetousness, uncleanness, and every manner of wickedness.

This image shows a man sitting in the dark.

John 11:10

[10]But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.

You don't have freedom in your inner man, you are not liberated, you become the slave of the enemy.

Galatians 5:17

[17]For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

This is the law of the flesh which led man into darkness and the custody of the devil.

This makes man perish and fall from the grace of God.

Romans 6:23

Galatians 5:18-21

[21]I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

[22]For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

[23]But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

[24]O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

But if you come across Jesus Christ, the light of the world, He will deliver you from the darkness and give you new life.

He, the Lord, will save you from the grip of evil and make you a child of God.

Zacchaeus Interacted With Jesus

When Zacchaeus saw Jesus Christ, He invited him to follow Him.

Luke 19:5-6

[5]And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.

[6]And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.

I'm not sure who you're seeking for, but if it's Jesus Christ, He's the only one who can bring you joy.

Jesus Christ is constantly on the lookout for you, and if you would just open the door of your heart to Him, He will come with delight and remain.

According to the Bible, "he received him cheerfully."

He still loves and needs you, no matter how many sins you've committed

If you come to Him, He will gladly accept you.

The people surrounding Jesus muttered, but they didn't realize He had come to save sinners from the power of darkness and to make them children of light.

Matthew 9:13

He now invited Zacchaeus to his home to eat with him. Another huge miracle appeared, a miracle of salvation and transition from darkness to light.

ZACCHAEUS has been given the light!

A fresh light, bringing salvation and new life.

Luke 19:8-9

[8]And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

[9]And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

He received judgement in his heart and the judgement reproved him of his sins.

Zacchaeus's eyes were opened from the darkness into the light.

Now he can see the light because Jesus the light exposed everything unto him.

Ephesians 5:13

[13]But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

When you receive Jesus Christ and He offers you redemption, your past sins are no longer remembered, and you are no longer under the power of sin.

You acquire liberty, freedom, happiness, and serenity!

Her sins were forgiven and she was granted new life when the adulterous lady saw Jesus Christ.

Do not sit in the darkness, seeing it as your comfort zone; your comfort zone is Jesus Christ, the light and our salvation.

Jesus Christ Brings Divine Transformation In Live

Now you become a new man indeed and walk in the light.

You become a child of the light and no more darkness.

1 Peter 2:9-10

[9]But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

[10]Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

He gives you His Spirit to walk in Him always and become joyful and peaceful in your living. This affect your living exernally and internally.

Jesus Christ the light.

Ephesians 2:10

[10]For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

God is asking you to come to Him, and He will release you from your addictions. He is asking you to open your heart to Him. He will save you if you admit and confess your faults to Him.

1 John 1:9

[9]If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

He will forgive you because He is trustworthy and just. Don't dwell on your sins; instead, recognize that you have sinned against Him and confess them to Jesus Christ.

Recognize what you've done that is opposed to His word, and beg Him with a wounded heart for Him to forgive you of all your sins.

Do you struggle with sin? Just admit it today.

Accept Him now; there is power in His blood to wash away wickedness, addiction loads, curses, and dishonor in Jesus' name.

John 1:12

[12]But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Master Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I have sinned against you, please forgive me.

Wash away my sins with your precious blood, the blood you shed on the Cavalry Mountain.

I know you died for my sins, please wash my sins away today and make me your child.

Write my name in the book of life.

Thank you master Lord Jesus Christ for saving me today.

Wow! You are now a God's kid.

The day of salvation has arrived.

You've received the light, and now you're His craftsmanship.

You are a blessing and a light kid.

Acts 26:18

[18]To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Many Christians and Pastors say in church that there is no righteousness and that no one is perfect, even if we have come to Christ.

But, as the word of God teaches me by the Holy Spirit, who reveals secrets in His word, I believe and declare that righteousness is possible for those who have Christ Jesus.

In our day, no one is righteous apart from Jesus.

Jeremiah 33:16

[16]In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.

 What exactly is righteousness?

Purity of heart and rectitude of conduct; adherence to divine rule in heart and life. Righteousness, as defined in Scripture and theology, is roughly similar to holiness, encompassing holy principles and affections of the heart, as well as conformity of life to divine rule. It incorporates all we term justice, honesty, and morality, as well as pure feelings; in a nutshell, it is real religion.

So are we declaring that no one is holy, no one righteous since we have Christ and born again and behold the old things have past away and now we live with new mind and a clean heart?

When you become born again and gain Christ, you have Him to be your Righteousness

Without Him you are never righteous no matter the god you do.

Isaiah 53:5-6

[5]But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

[6]All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

We were all sinners, but He came to die for us so that we would be justified through His blood.

His blood atones for our sins, and we are cleansed as a result.

Yes, you may live a pure life, a virtuous life, because Jesus Christ has cleansed your sins away; this is the tremendous act of Grace!

Matthew 5:10

[10]Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Happy are those who hunger for righteousness and are persecuted, according to Jesus. Meaning, you will be persecuted for your righteousness since the world despises you and does not know the Father.

You can never satisfy God if you lack righteousness.

Acts 10:35

[35]But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

See people who God declared righteous because they believed in God.

Romans 4:3

[3]For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Romans 4:6-7

[6]Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

[7]Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

Job 1:1

Job was proclaimed flawless and righteous by God!

The Lord pronounced Enoch to be righteous!

Noah was pronounced righteous!

Also, David, since he stated that the Lord had covered his sins and forgiven him of all his transgressions.

So all of these individuals are in the old testament, but when Jesus Christ came, He removed man's weakness and all sin, and if you believe in Him and accept Him into your life, you will be pardoned and live righteously before God.

Romans 3:25-28

[25]Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

[26]To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

[27]Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

[28]Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

You are justified by faith, which means that you believe that Jesus Christ is the only righteousness and that if you embrace Him, you will be made righteous.

If they refer to us as sinners and weak people because we have Christ, it means that Christ's death was in vain. However, God forbid that Christ's death be in vain.

Galatians 2:21

[21]I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Hebrews 10:14-20

[14]For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

[15]Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

[16]This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

[17]And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

[18]Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

[19]Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

[20]By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

When sin or darkness captures you, you become a slave for the enemy (Satan), which leads to addiction and a plethora of sins that deny you the ability to live.

Because he stated that he cannot do the good things he desires, but he can do the wicked things he does not desire.

That is why, when sin infiltrates your members, you are captured and controlled by the adversary.

Some people are drunkards, prostitutes, smokers, thieves, covetousness, uncleanness, and everything wicked.

This depicts a man sitting in the dark.
