If you genuinely want to enter the healing ministry, it is possible. God is the one who chooses what He wants to use someone to do.

Now the question is, why does God give us the gift of healing?

Is it for praising ourselves, merely raising our ministry, or for helping people who are sick so that they can be completely healed?

Well, I can say that if God wants to lift His name in your ministry, He can also give you this ability, besides His desire for the sick to be healed.

Jesus Christ was moved with compassion several times. When He saw the sick, He was grieved and desired everyone to be well or completely healed.

You must feel the pain that people are going through and ask for their healing.

Mark 1:41-42

[41] And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth His hand, and touched him, saying, "I will; be clean."

[42] And as soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.

It took compassion for Jesus Christ to move. There's a movement that you will make towards the sick, and that movement is love. When you don't love them or have pity for them, you may think it is their sins, and you may never move towards them.

You may think their state or condition is okay for them. But if you really move towards them and pray, the Lord will heal them completely for His name to be glorified and for the person to be relieved.

He cares about our well-being; He's a good Father.

He's not a wicked God nor a selective God.

To perform miracles in the Lord, it takes a person who loves God, a person who wants to see souls come to Jesus Christ. With this, God unleashes grace upon you to operate in that grace.

The Apostles prayed for the sick, and they were healed because they wanted to see souls come to the Lord.
